The Client
As CDM Co-coordinators we can ensure that the Client complies fully with these regulations
by carrying out the following:
- Notifying the HSE of the project
- Co-ordinating design work and cooperate with others involved with the project
- Manage Health and Safety communication between client, designers and contractors
- Liaise with Principal Contractor re ongoing design
- Prepare / update the Health and Safety File
The Principal Contractor
As Health and Safety Consultants we can:
- Assist and advise the Principal Contractor on complying with these regulations
- Assist with the preparation of the construction phase Health and Safety Plan
- Assist with programming of the project
- Assist with development of risk assessments and method statements
- Assist with the development of COSHH Assessments
- Check and advise on the competence of Contractors
- Assess training needs and arrange the provision of training when needs are identified
The Designer
As Health and Safety Consultants we can:
- Assist and advise the Designer on complying with these regulations
- Assist with the risk identification and reduction process
- Act as facilitators at HAZOP meetings
- Assess training needs and arrange the provision of training when needs are identified
